Tuesday, June 6th, 2017: It was announced today in Sacramento that River Cats reliever Dave Martin will be out 8-9 months. Martin suffered a torn labrum that occurred during a game against the Fresno Grizzlies.
Martin has nailed down no saves for the year. He has also totaled 17 strikeouts and 25 walks in 36 innings while registering a 6.25 ERA and a 1-1 won-lost record. |
 | Adalberto Flores to Miss 10-11 Months
Tuesday, June 6th, 2017: Memphis Redbirds starting pitcher Adalberto Flores left yesterday's game against the Round Rock Express after suffering a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament throwing a pitch. Flores was taken to the clubhouse for examination by team doctors. A team spokesman told BNN today Flores is expected to miss 10-11 months.
So far this year Flores has 1 win and 7 losses and a 4.13 ERA. |

Monday, June 5th, 2017: It was announced today by the Pacific Conference that Fresno catcher Munoto Minami had received the Player of the Week Trophy for his superlative play last week.
The Fresno catcher wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers, pounding them for a .480 average (12-25) with 3 home runs and 9 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor.
A look at his season totals shows Minami with 10 home runs, .369 BA, .426 OBP, 25 RBIs and 31 runs scored. |
